| So you failed the test? There's always next time. The best way to find out what they expect you to do to pass is to go to a driving school. Here are some things you should be doing during the test. Step By Step Checklist Before you Pull Off Changing lanes Right Turn S-Curve Stop Sign Left Turn Pedestrian Crossing Z-crank Obstructed vision Traffic Lights Pulling over to end the test GENERAL TIPS Drive slowly but not too slow. Going under 10kph on a long stretch loses points! Imagine that you are driving in heavy traffic with bicycles and pedestrians all over the place. Look behind before getting out the car. Shut the door after getting out the car. Pull your chin up to the steering wheel when checking crossroads. Especially at the obstructed one. Look RIGHT, LEFT before every road crossing unless you are on the very wide road. Before every crossing means at least 1 car length before. Don't make an unnecessary stop, especially when turning a corner. Just go really slow. Drive SMOOTHLY. No 90 degree turns. No sudden acceleration or stops. Glide through. Don't hit the curb in S or Crank turns. Keep left, even within a lane. (except over a diamond painted on the road. Go right over it.) On short roads, when you're going to turn right, KEEP RIGHT because you dont have time to do the "Rear, side, signal,... rear, side, blindspot, move to the right" thing. In T-junctions, go very NEAR the painted white triangle, but not over it. Pull your chin up to the wheel to get a better view when the road is obstructed. Dont indicate inside the z-crank |
